Here you will find everything you need to know about being part of our “Magteam” and what you can expect while serving with us.

MAG is an acronym for “Magnification Team”
Our desire is to honor God with ALL of the gifts we have by serving others and loving him through worship, praise and compassion for the lost.

One of the ways we reach excellence is by living out our Flamingo Road Ethos:

What are the ETHOS:

Collaboration– Who am I doing life with?
Diversity– Is there anyone NOT like me?
Thinking– Where am I thinking?
Potential– Is this the best I can do?
Movement– Which direction am I headed?
Environment– How does this make me feel?

Worship Leadership:

We support the vision and mission placed upon our Lead Pastor, we support our Local pastors and leaders by honoring them with integrity, execution and preparation. Our Mission IS to “Partner with people to reach their God potential”. We also believe that LEADING worship has spiritual implications and WE should be prepared spiritually, mentally and physically to lead God’s people into Worship.

Serving with Passion and Conviction::

Lead Worship as opposed to just being a Worship Leader, singer or musician. LEAD by example.
No Jesus? No passion! Know Jesus? Know Passion!! Live a pure and honest life of integrity, worthy to lead worship and honor God.
Worship is a lifestyle, it’s an everyday thing, what I do on stage is a reflection of what I do offstage, who I am in private should reflect and glow in public.

Stage look and Presence:

PURE: No distractions, modest appearance, authentic and relative.
POPULAR: Edgy, fashionable, appropriate, cool and relevant.
POLISHED: Finished, accessories, make-up, groomed, intentional, well put together.

On Stage:

Smile, clap, lead and create positive energy, maintain eye contact, get others to engage.
Use the clocks – find 3 focus points & keep your eyes moving on these spots, connect with people.
Infuse energy & fun into your worship!
Observe & Create – watch other Artists, DVD’s, Concerts. Take what you see & adjust it to who you are.

Important things to remember:

Parking – We want to give our first time guests the primary spots. Please park in volunteer designated parking or furthest away from campus for the sake of someone getting the best FRC impression.
Blocking of Dates – We will provide you with a log-in for our PCO (planning center online) so that you may BLOCK OUT dates you ARE NOT able to serve, weekends when your away from Church or work obligations, this is essential to your role in music ministry.(See tutorial available in our PCO tab)

Rehearsal start times:

Cooper City: Saturday at 1pm and Sunday at 8am in Cooper City Campus
Doral: Sunday at 8:00am in Doral Campus (Ronald Reagan High School)
Hallandale: Sunday at 7:00am in Hallandale Campus
Sawgrass: Saturday at 9am in Cooper City Campus

Access your songs on time & invest in preparation. Practice, practice, practice.
Strive to improve the gifts God has given you (i.e. Vocal lessons, music coaching)
Come ready to “run through” the songs…
