Most shocking experience while leading worship:
One time during a song medley that we did a bunch I had changed the 2nd song to keep it “fresh.” While we were doing the medley I sang the original 2nd song in the medley and everybody else(vocals, orchestra, choir and congregation) sang what was on the screen-the new “fresh” song-Ouch!

What gives you the greatest joy in being a leader: to see other people become leaders
Who made the biggest influence in your life as a worship pastor: Bill Keith(my mentor in college) & Dan Southerland(former pastor at FRC)

A shocking experience leading worship was back in the day when I would wear suits, I sang the whole service with a huge rip in my pants that was a day I
will never forget.

The great joy in being a leader is to see potential and gifts in people and
help bring them to life.
Israel Haughton has had a huge influence in my life as a worship leader,
also Darlen Zscech and the whole Hillsong crew
In ten years I see my self happily married with a few kids, a more anointed
worship leader, a greater leader, a grammy award winning singer songwriter,
and have mentored/ developed at least 10 up and coming worship leaders.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years: Taking Flamingo Road’s music ministry to a global level and have our church’s music mentioned the way Hillsong and Lakewood’s are right now. We can get there!

  • I don’t believe any experience has impacted, challenged, and grown me more than the opportunity to serve with you all. I am weekly mentored by individuals who pour into the creative, musical, technical, and spiritual areas of my life (wether you know it or not) and are a huge part of the future of my life in music. You all are a part of my purpose being completed and there is no greater gift then that. Thank you all Allen, Ricky, Heredes, Fuller, Vaughn, Cristian…but thank you isn’t enough so let my life reflect what words can not.
    Hah and Fuller you’re the best to learn from when mistakes come ;) “all for love” will always be to slow for us now!
