Modeling..
Not in a “Vogue” type sense, STRIKE A POSE……NOT!!!
No, I mean Modeling “Worship“…We have the awesome opportunity to be in front of so many people every weekend, in all of our campuses, they are watching US.
Model Worship, lead people to the thrown by showing them how its done, most people visit us for the first time or have “no clear idea yet” how they are supposed to Worship, THEY JUST LOCK EYES on us.…SO, Model Worship, especially in between your moments of music or singing, when your just in the back, clap, raise those hands and teach people, lead people, show people “how to worship”

Worth/Ship = Worship
Great perspective on Worship from a well known Worship Pastor From Hillsong Church, my favorite quote from this is “Worth/Ship, bringing GOD his Due Worth….Worth/Ship”…yeah, that’s awesome.

Staying creative
Music is an amazing thing, it comes from God and it can move YOU at any moment, anywhere, through anything or anyone.
When it comes to talents, however there is a great deal of attention and focus that must take place to keep Music “fresh and alive” in all of us.
Pastor Troy said ” Creativity comes from order- NOT- Chaos, the more disciplined you are, the MORE creative you can be”
Here are some ways to stay creative:
1. Listen to Different types of music (Force yourself to find the beauty in another form or style of music, you’d be surprised and how much great creativity is our there)
2. Take time to improvise and practice ( This is one of the greatest parts of being a musician, the actual inventing of notes, harmonies, parts-However you must REALLY know the song first so practicing really hard is a pre-requisite)
3. Write music or record music ( Writing music on sheet music, or in demo’s can really reveal your strengths and weaknesses in your talent, Recording yourself is one the BEST things you can do to get “ahead” of the pack, it teaches you timing, control, discipline AND that your NOT perfect, practice, practice, practice)

Worship Team: 101

I Really believe in the idea that I can learn something everyday, from someone, at anytime or anyplace, life is a huge lesson and school IS in session.
Here’s what I’ve learned leading Worship and leading a Worship team so far, not in a particular order and certainly not the only ones but here are five important things an individual MUST have in order to make a difference on a Worship team.
1) He or she must be COMMITTED.
2) He or she must be HUMBLE.
3) He or she must be TEACHABLE.
4) He or she must be, to some degree, TALENTED.
5) He or she must be a WORSHIPPER.

One step at a time..
I’ve had it told me many times, “bro, be patient, one step at a time”.
I’m a New Yorker, there is NO SUCH THING!!
“Move over, get out of my way, hey what’s the delay yo?”, All things I’ve said before and felt in my heart but God is teaching me something NEW, something fresh, something different.
As I grow and learn, those around me are also growing and learning, just as they make mistakes ( just as I’ve made a bunch), I need to be patient and allow them to grow and learn too, this is God’s way of guiding us as we ALL reach our God potential. I Thank God for his mercy and Patience with me, man I can be SO driven sometimes I can easily run people over but God’s still working on me so If I’m at a “step” and YOUR in a rush, hey, give me a break here, have a cappuccino
God’s working here…..
Philippians 1:6 Says in the (NLV)
” And I am certain (LOVE THAT) that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished..”
